Guardians of the Galaxy

Another entry into the Marvel comics movie adaptations about a group of rather rag-tag heroes (Starlord/Peter Quill, the leader; Rocket, a raccoon; Groot, a tree; Gamora (fast and deadly); and Drax) set out to save the galaxy from Ronan who is set to destroy it. I found the movie to be a lot of fun; the humor is visual and also plays well to children and adults; the action is fast-paced; and the soundtrack – 70’s and 80’s music – is really great. How to Train Your Dragon 2

This movie starts where the original leaves off. The Vikings live in harmony with the dragons, primarily due to the efforts of Hiccup, the Viking chief’s son, who sports a wooden leg and travels around with his dragon Toothless with the artificial half-tail. There is now a new challenge from Drago, a ruthless ruler who enslaves dragons to do his will, and Hiccup accepts the challenge to try to change his mind.
